Dr. Sarah McInerney is a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Suicide CPR Initiative. Sarah earned her doctorate in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in trauma from the University of Colorado – Colorado Springs in 2025. Prior to graduate school, Sarah commissioned into the U.S. Army as a quartermaster officer, serving on active duty for nine years and deploying twice in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. In addition to her position with the lab, Sarah currently serves in the U.S. Army Reserve as an Emergency Preparedness Liaison Officer in support of the Region VIII, Defense Coordinating Element in Denver, Colorado.
